Takuji Aoyagi
Takuji Aoyagi is an active artist that expresses himself through words, sounds, and visuals
under the names LITTLE CREATURES, Double Famous, the solo band project KAMA AINA, and Takuji Aoyagi.
He hosts the storytelling event "BOOKWORM" and owns the label "CHORDIARY."
In 2007, he performed at the Roskilde Festival, one of the largest music festivals in Europe, held in Roskilde, Denmark, under the name of KAMA AINA. The event featured guests such as BEASTIE BOYS and Björk. Later on, he set off on tour in Sweden, Germany, and Spain.
In November of the same year, he released his first album "Tadeai" under the name Takuji Aoyagi. In 2008, the Double Famous, celebrating their 15th anniversary, released their 5th album "DOUBLE FAMOUS" on July 9th, and performed at large summer festivals in and out of Japan.
He has been involved in the world of words as Takuji Aoyagi as well, releasing his collection of poems and paintings "Radio Tower" and holding the storytelling event "Bookworm," which will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year. He serializes his stories in "Tadeai-no-oto" in the "sotokoto" magazine, and "Mood Indigo (words by Atkuji Aoyagi, and more)" in Tower Record's free magazine "bounce."
