June 4th in commemoration of the release of the DVD and Blu-ray of the documentary movie "Ryuichi Sakamoto: CODA" of Ryuichi Sakamoto released in November 2017 (released on May 25) Will hold "Ryuichi Sakamoto film festival" for two weeks on weekdays. Many of the customers who watched "Ryuichi Sakamoto: CODA" said, "I want to see that masterpiece introduced in the movie again on a big screen!" In response to such a hot request, the Ryuichi Sakamoto film festival has been realized. Among the works that Ryuichi Sakamoto is in charge of music, "Merry Christmas on the battlefield" (1983), "Sheltering Sky" (1990), "Last Emperor" ( 1987), "Revenant: Rebirth" (2015), four masterpieces, "Ryuichi Sakamoto: CODA" (2017), which was released as a package, and a premiere live that only 200 people could see "Ryuichi Sakamoto PER FOR MANCE IN NEW YORK: async" (2018) will also be screened.

Merry Christmas on the battlefield (1983)

A unique human drama that depicts the conflict of human beings in extreme situations set in a prisoner of war camp in Java. The original is "In Shadow Prison" by Sir Lawrence Van der Post. It depicts the strange and affectionate relationship between the Japanese elite officer Yonoi and Major Celiaz, the Allied POW. A group of human figures drawn by Oshima, which had already been highly evaluated overseas, such as "The Ghost of Love." The drama that unfolds as each position subtly intertwines, and is supported by the unique talents of D. Bowie, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Beat Takeshi, T. Conti, and appeals to the message of the viewer.
Ryuichi Sakamoto proposed to Nagisa Oshima and was in charge of music. For this work, he won the first Japanese Academy Award for Composition in the UK.


Sheltering Sky (1990)

An exotic love story directed by Bertorucci. Shortly after World War II, a couple from New York to North Africa travels. The couple, who realized they weren't vibrant, had lost their love and dreams, were wondering if they could discover something in this North Africa. Based on the best-selling novel by Paul Bowles, a masterpiece of Italian movie world masterpiece Bernardo Bertolucci, who follows "Last Emperor" and sets in an exotic foreign country. Ryuichi Sakamoto who was in charge of music, won the Golden Globe Composition Award for this work.

In 1823, a group of fur hunters traveled through an undeveloped area in the western United States. Leading Captain Henry, Hugh Glass as a guide, his son Hawke, and Fitzgerald who are hostile to Grass, but at one time, they were attacked by the indigenous people and caused many casualties. "Ryuichi Sakamoto PER FOR MANCE IN NEW YORK: a sync" containing the live performance of Ryuichi Sakamoto on April 25th and 26th, 2017 at Park Avenue Armory in New York.
Ryuichi Sakamoto, which was announced in March 2017, is a premium live performance held in commemoration of the release of the original album "async" for the first time in eight years.
