WORLD HAPPINESS is a music festival held on the lawn surrounded by forests that cannot be seen in the middle of Tokyo. Many customers and artists gathered again this year and enjoyed the space where music flows from morning till night.
In this report, we focus on the stage of commmons artists, and tell the atmosphere of the event where both adults and children are happy.
At the Yumenoshima stadium, which became the venue, the blue sky spreads from the morning, and it makes us feel like a hot summer day. However, many audiences who can't wait for the event come in early and wait long for the opening time with a long line in front of the entrance gate.
Meanwhile, the commmons staff are busy preparing for a product booth that deals with a lot of sweaty items, and the first attempt of this year's stall village advancement (!). At the same time as the opening, I managed to open two booths.
The customer's aim is to say Yellow Magic Orchestra x Genbei collaboration sandals. Because it was sold only at the venue, most of them were sold out in no time.
"Music straight" T-shirts and towels and commmons: schola original T-shirts are also very popular this year! Some people approached, seeing what the staff was wearing, "Is this what the professor was wearing?"
Many people wore the new T-shirts near the end of the performance, and all the staff were impressed!

12:30. When the opening video was played, the unit that first appeared was the unit Nihon no Uta Orchestra that appeared from the commmons project "Nihon no Uta".
First of all, Ren Takata went to the stage by himself and started playing "Song of the Beach" with his pedal steel, which is synonymous with his name, and the venue felt like a tropical resort. Then, when all the members gathered and played nursery rhymes that everyone had listened to with jazz and blues arrangements one after another, the people at the venue also shake their bodies so that Mitsuko Koike's relaxed singing voice, You hum the lyrics. It was the opening that everyone enjoyed returning to their childhood on the lawn.

The three people on the stage in a loose atmosphere were Yasutsugu Miura, Shige Murata and Seikou Ito. Instead of greeting, when you start "everyday" (Mitsuko Koike Nihon no Uta band is a guest vocalist!) with a familiar sound,...? Since I always bring some kind of mechanism to live performances, I thought what kind of stage it would be, and did it! A performance at the WORLD HAPPINESS 2010 Special Version, in which all the songs were sampled by the artists who participated in today's event little by little!! They showed their respect to all the performers in their own way, which is very peaceful. It was an act.

This year, a stand village appeared in a small forest in a corner of the venue.
commmons also opened “Yasai, Eat”, which sells fresh Fukushima tomatoes, cucumbers, and peaches. When you pour your nose into the colorful vegetables, the delicious scent softly floats and appetite. The happiness of chilling it with ice water and covering it in the shade of a cool tree is a treat unique to summer! It can be said that this is an experience of enjoying Japan's traditional summer. Many customers have received positive feedback from us that we are pleased with our tired body after being exposed to the sun.
While the stage was completely illuminated at night, the headliner's Yellow Magic Orchestra was revealed! Continuing from last year, a special formation supported by Keigo Oyamada, Ken Takada, and Tomohiko Gondo.
Crystal-like performance backed by high performance. With the strength and flexibility that does not make you feel age, the audience is singing and dancing on the stage where YMO's masterpieces and Beatles' covers are released one after another! In "gymnastics," which was performed live for the first time in a long time, the professor has a megaphone, and there is also a comical production in which two dancers wearing gymnastic clothes demonstrate the numbness that fans are familiar with.
And the one who received the most applause on that day was "Thank You For Talkin' To Me Africa"!! A session that invited four Horns from Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and Kurstal Kay. However, everyone took a breather at the overwhelming stage that couldn't be cleared up in genres such as techno and funk, which are completely different arrangements from those recorded in commons: schola. There was a ridiculous band in Japan... I was very excited about the venue for "Rydeen" where I played live with Skapara all the time! The applause didn't stop until the end, and it was a bit of a grudge that the lights of the venue were on, but the audience's look was very satisfying. If commmons: schola has a volume of "Yellow Magic Orchestra", it is the best record live that seems to be recorded like this. It would have been a happy and memorable summer experience for the people at the venue on this day.
